volleyball update!

SO, so far this season we have had five games and Won all of them!
This Week i have a friday home game, so COME!!!!!!

so tomorrow as a team we're doing warm up jersey tie dye, During practice!
because Saturday we have an all day tourny!!!!!

Volleyball! JV team so far...

So i am bored, so I decided to make a post!

If you know me, you know i <3 Volleyball. I played competitive this past year, and now play on Covlife's JV team.

This year we have 10 girls and a pretty good team.

Kristin Knapp- 1st Setter, Right Side hitter- 8th grade

Liana Knapp- Middle hitter and Middle back -10th

Erica Morton- Middle hitter -8th

Sierra Lucas- Middle back (for Erica)- 8th/9th

Nikki (cant remember last name)- Outside hitter and DS (defensive specialist)- 11th

me <3 lol- Outside hitter and DS- 9th

Becca Maka- 2nd Setter- 9th

Lila Allen- Outside Hitter- 9th

Morgan Webber- Back row and Hitter

Christina Glab- Back-up Setter and Right Side hitter 

So we've played Jewish Day and WIS so far. Both times we won! but we totally crushed WIS! For us that is such a victory cause last year we went to finals and lost to them. This time between the two games in the match we got 15 points just on their rotational errors. Also we had a play with 4 hits and the Ref didn't call it.  I was so funny cause there was a bad pass into the net, a weird dig out of the net then a lob back into the court and i just casually and playfully lobbed it over. most of  the time he wont blow his whistle till the fourth hit or it touches the court, but this time he didn't stop the play! it was hilarious and we couldn't stop giggling. Tomorrow we'll play Mclean School. 

Aslo Thursday is our first HOME game against Washington Christian Academy. @4 pm

That Dreaded "What did you do this summer?" Paragraph

Hey Ferb, from Phineas and Ferb

Phineas and Ferb Theme: 
There's 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it

My Version:
Yesterday was the 104th day of summer vacation and as usual school has come along and ended it. So what I've done today, is write out all the ways i have spent my summer vacation this year.

• Went To Penn State Happy Volley AAU Tourny and won GOLD
• Jumped Off the High Dive
• Wore Make-Up (the girls on my team did it)
• Ate a 3-foot gummy snake
• Went to my Uncles 3rd(?) Wedding
• Was a Lead Encourager  at Summer Cel. - GO EPHESIANS!!!!
• Made tons of Pokemon out of clay 

• Took care of adorable Kittens!!!!!
• PARTY WEEK:
• Big Wooden Slide!

• DaNcE PaRtY
• Beach Day
• Girls Night when guys went to see LOTR
• Hanging with friends
• Went to the Walkersville Fair on my Birthday and won alot with my birthday luck

• Went to Gettysburg camping!
• Bought a key chain that changes color in the sun!
• Hung out with Elizabeth, Stephen, and Sarah up in Gettysburg
• Went to Hershey park
• watched 2 adorable prairie dog babies wrestle 
• Dressed up for the Harry Potter Midnight Premiere
• Went and saw WICKED in DC

• PLayed Gonzalo in the Tempest for Shakespeare camp
• Got the 2nd most amount of silly bands at the CLS Vollleyball Camp
• Went Ziplining with my Uncle aunt and Cousin
• went to a Family Reunion were i knew almost no one
• Did Video Team for the Summer Musical 
• did FACT , ( farm animal care team @ the Ag farm)
• MVSA Volleyball tryout workouts
• Summer of Mercy- Human Cross

• Summer of Mercy Monday Morning Prayer
• Helped paint a friend's room Bother-free Blue
• Went to the pool with friends!
• Played truth or dare, resulting in me having to scream "I Love Justin Bieber" to the entire neighborhood to hear :P
• Interning Training: I Got to be guided around the Ag farm blindfolded, Fill my mouth with marshmallows and recite a nursery rhyme, and walk sideways during a three legged race.
• Made a Cow out of Cardboard!
• Walked in the MC Fair Parade
• Showed my dog Cassie in the MC Fair Dog Show, Winning Fitting and Showing, and placing 3rd in obedience, and 1st in Agility (only because she was the only dog in her class)
• Volleyball Tryouts!
• Went to Worthy 11:
• Went canoeing 
• Went on the Giant swing 3 times, cutting the rope once :P
• Did the right thing even though i was sad about it 
• Went Water Tubing FINALLY!!!!!!!!
• Went on the ropes course
• Played Ultimate Frisbee in the rain
• hung out with Friends!!!!
• broke an egg over someones back
• played dodge-ball in a muddy field
• did a stomp dance with my care group
• placed 4th Place!
• Went to the beach with my Family plus Liam and Kevin
• Destroyed the raft wave riding
• went thrift shopping in OBX and bought a $30 study bible for only $.75
• Bought Maze Runner, which is getting better by the page!!!!!
• Ran down a Giant Dune!

• saw a shooting star!
• Did Henna on my self and other peoples
• Got evacuated because of Hurricane Irene 
• went to the National Aquarium 
• Did my dance and crowd audition for Acts
• got to eat food for Government Money at NIH
• Volleyball Practice!
• Played Quelf at Jenn's Party on Labor Day

So I've done quite alot.... It's been the best summer!!!! But that still means it's over. :(

It's Not that i dont like school, I love school(most of the time), But if school comes It still means the end of vacation. And WHO DOESN'T LIKE SUMMER!?!?!?!?!?

So I'm not that person who hates writing and just doesn't want to do my first writing assignment, but i am that person who when this paper comes up every year, I freak out because that means school is back and summer is over!

"We can build a rollercoaster, but this time with songs and dancing!

'Cause when we're back in school come next September, And they ask us, we can both remember Every cool and clever thing we did all summer long, and glancing back we're gonna be so glad that we Didn't sit all day and watch TV, I don't think anyone can disagree The world is possibilities...."
