Spaz! Primeval!!!! (Ignore if you want)

So this is originally a "30 days of primeval" but i dont have a tumblr to put it on and i'll only have time when i'm still sick so i just was going to do a spaz post and do it right now!
So as some of you know I am OBSESSED with bbc syfy, mainly Doctor Who (Whovians Unite!) and Primeval!
So here is my spaz moment of Primeval!

1. Favorite Episode.

Series 2 Episode 4 (for now, i'm going through the show again cause i'm sick :P)
why:
Mainly because of the whole Conner/Abby thing. connor is distraught when abby is taken by a future aquatic preditor, so he and cutter set out to find her, she eventually gets free but then is dragged into the future by the creature, where she ends up dangling over a cliff. and in that moment of panic he tells her that he loves her. (scream).
You also get used to Jenny not being Claudia.
Also cause it really is a good episode that expands what everybody really cares about.

But at the same time i get really mad about Connor denying that he admitted his feeling for her. But at least in the long run they end up together. :D

2. Favorite Female Character.

 Abby Maitland
1. She is Kick-Butt Awesome!
2. How even through his geekyness and stupidity, she loves Connor. :P
3. She's extremely smart.
4. She cares about the animals trapped on our side and takes care of them in the ARC
+ in real life (actor: Hannah Spearritt) is actually hooked up with Connor! (Andrew Lee Potts)

3. Favorite Male Character.
 Is it not obvious already?

This is him right before he gets forced through an anomaly in series 5.

CONNOR TEMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE'S ADORIBLE!!!!!!!
He's a freakin' genius.
His goofy grin :P
He cares so much about everyone around him, no one more so than Abby. 
He's completely devoted to her in his own clumsy way. 
He makes mistakes and he learns from them. 
He's not afraid to cry.
He's incredibly brave. 
He's just this amazingly adorable geek that it’s impossible not to love.


(It also helps that Andrew is an incredibly good actor). 


* if Andrew Lee Potts was taken by any other girl on earth except for Hannah Spearritt, He would be MINE! :P


4. Favorite Creature.


Sid and Nancy

They, along with a whole pack of Diictodons, came through an anomaly from their home era of the Permian to a West London Hospital. One was in the ceiling when it fell through and was caught by Connor and Captain Becker inside a laundry basket. The other was lured by the distress call of another and attempted to get through the anomaly, but it closed and was captured inside Nick Cutter's jacket. Abby and Connor decided to adopt the pair, and were secured in Cutter's car before they were later moved to Abby's flat, and were later named Sid and Nancy. They get themselves into a mess of troubles. They basically act like burrowing reptile-ish, Pre-historic dogs :P

5. Least fav creature and why.

OK hard one. 

On the scale of freaky-ness,

     1- Predators- They are descendants of bats, and like bats use echolocation to hunt and locate prey, with the ears having moved to the front of the face. They are extremely agile, however it comes at a cost as they are easily stunned by powerful blows. The Future Predators are known to have caused the most deaths out of any creature in the series, both on-screen deaths, and total (if what Helen Cutter said about them wiping out humanity in the future was true). Their only weakness is high pitched sounds and loud sounds/vibrations like glass exploding.

     2- The Camouflager Creature (probably only because I first watched that episode at night)- It was responsible for the disappearance of two boys 14 years before the present, including Patrick Quinn, and leaving Ryan Mason the only survivor. In the present day it was being fed raw meat by a girl in order to keep it from eating neighboring pets. When the team arrived at the now abandoned house they could not find the creature due to its camouflage ability, and later it attacked Abby when she was alone. Abby later followed it and discovered the girl feeding it. She and Ryan were in the house when it attacked again, however when the others arrived it killed a real estate agent. It attacked Danny Quinn, and it went through its anomaly when it reopened, however it came back, only to be shot several times by Danny as it fell back through, possibly dead.

     3- Anurognathus, (like a flying piranha fish, with an amazingly keen sense of smell able to detect blood from hundreds of feet away. they attach in giant swarms )

and basically any of the bugs that are over 6 inches. YUCK!

 The colors and style of her outfit and the lighting really makes her personality stand out, and her eyes are so pretty! plus this is when i really liked her hair.

8. Fav Pairing.

Um OBVIOUS! 

CONNOR AND ABBY (known to fans as Conby)

So from the beginning, Connor has liked her, not till about halfway through series 2 that she likes him back. He saves her life maybe 5 times, but she pretty much ends up saving him most of the time :P eventually they get stuck in the Cretaceous period alone together, where they get really close. then at the end of series she finally has to ask him to marry her. lol. 

OMG fav awkward moment.

In this one episode their unfortunately end up at the wedding of the now retired jenny, and Connor says this. 

Connor: We should get married here.

Abby: Should we?

Connor: Well...uh...theoretically...if we were to...to ever...you know...ever go down the road of...you know...go down the road of complete...

Abby: I'm going to go get more champagne.

you have to love it.

but I have to admit.

JESS AND BECKER ARE ADORABLE! (known as Jecker)

This is right after Jess, who is allergic to bug bites, is bitten by a prehistoric bug, and because the ARC is under lock down, has passed out and slowly fading. Becker holds her until Connor has saved the world, and Becker rushes out, even when he doesn't know if its safe, to get her an EpiPen. 

AMAZING!

9. Worst Pairing or couple.

Basically the worst is the whole love triangle between Helen, Cutter and Stephen. Stephen works for Cutter, Cutter is married to Helen who disappeared years ago and was thought to be dead, Then she comes back and uses both of them.

But the one i'm most mad at the writers about is between Cutter and Claudia. :'(

So they had just realized they both like each other, he's kissed her and later right before he adventures back into an anomaly she runs up and kisses him. But then in the anomaly they somehow ended up changing the present that Claudia Brown didn't exist but in her place(ish), and the same actress, is Jenny Lewis. Only he can remember Claudia, and constantly calls jenny, Claudia. :(

10. Best Story line.

Matt and Emily: I love the whole Victorian lady time traveler line and the whole Man from the future, travelling back in time to save the world, which is really two separate story lines, but the way the two characters are interwoven together, their similarities and differences bounced off each other, it really does detract from one to remove the other.

11. Fav Series. 

Hard One. Um. 

I really want to say all of them, just because there really isn't a big ending to them just one long story.

 But i have to say either series 3, 4 or 5.

There is no way to decide. 

But on the bright side I am expecting series 6 to be amazing!

12. Fav friendship.

WHY ARE THESE QUESTION SO HARD!

I like the friendships between: 

Sarah and Connor- the two geniuses 

Matt and Becker- shared respect really :P

Jess and Abby- the only two girls have to be friends in this world of guns and dinosaurs or they would die.

13. How did you get into it?

I saw a trailer for third(?) series once while watching Doctor Who on BBC America. I later actually watched it after it was recommended to me on Netflix when i was watching Doctor Who again :P

14. Best Actor or Actress.

Andrew Lee Potts

and i'm not saying this cause he's just adorable. He can really act. 

15. Worst Actor or Actress.

Any one that's not a main character. It seems like they spend alll their money on the main characters (which i somewhat approve of cause if you loose them the shows done for), and all the extras, victims and minor characters are horrible actors.

16. Books read.

I haven't read any of the actual books but i have read the fan fics

19. Best Dressed Character. 

Connor has this cute, classic, geeky look to him that I love = vests, fedoras, geeky shirts, pocket watches, finger gloves. But Abby is also pretty awesome.

20. Best Kiss

um..... Well i'm still looking forward to the Jecker kiss. but i think this one is amazing.

21. Best Connor Quote.

i think this is the hardest one.

-(Knight: I am in hell.) Connor: Technically it's London, but you know, it's an easy mistake to make. 

-“I can do the action stuff as well, you know. I’m not just a massive intellect.”

Those are the first to pop to mind mainly because i just watched those episodes.

22. Worst Story line

I really didn't like the future fungus episode. Ug. and they have been doing to many bug episodes.

23. Best Grafics

IDK exactly what their asking but....

Basically all the creature grafics suck, but the acting is so darn good you get into it anyway

24. Fav Fan-Fic

I've only read two but 'our cretaceous souvenir' is probably the best. (i wouldn't read the fan fics if you didnt already know the correct story line for the show cause in your mind they could get really tangled)

25. Fav Guest Character

so as i explained before i never really like the guest characters cause of their acting, but I sort of liked Ducan and Tom.

26. Least Favorite guest character.

Jack, Abby's broke little brother who 1) bets Rex(the flying lizard dinosaur Abby and Connor kept) in a game of cards, 2) steals Abby's anomaly locator from her purse and 3) uses it to get trapped in the future by giant bugs and risks the whole team getting killed in the future by the bugs or the predators.

27. Something you wished never happened. 

well... the entire series is all over time so mainly that so many people on the team died. Stephen, I can live with out and maybe Cutter. but why Sarah? she was perfectly fine! and why did jenny leave? 

another is why did Abby have to like Stephen the first series?(you can see now why i don't mind he's dead)

I also wish there wasn't Leek, and Christine Johnson.

28. something you wish had happened.

maybe a bit more Sarah-Quinn going on?

and that Claudia had stayed Claudia and that whole Cutter-Claudia thing happened.

29. Best Lester Quote.

Well the day has passed, the world has been saved 12 times today (I've practically watched it all day), and i'm starting to feel better. Sigh. Mother said no more episode for the night. So i should stop now.

The Lion King!

So today i went to see The Lion King at the hippodrome!
The Lion King is now the third of my best shows list, only after LES MIS(1) and Wicked (2).
The costumes and mannerisms of the animals were spectacular! The set pieces and props were magical! the young actors were superb! And best of all the music was extravagant! The sound in the theater was amazing!

The costumes are the best I've ever seen. The Cheetah was the best! The head was connected  to the puppeteer  by invisible strings and the he also had the PERFECT mannerisms.

Thanksgiving Weekend!

-----This Thanksgiving I really realized how grateful i am for my friendships. On Friday the 18th, three of my best friends were in a car crash. If you looked at the car you would think there were serious if not deadly injures inflicted. My friends, Matt, Liam, and Tasia, were all safe with only minor injures. Tasia, who was the most hurt, came out with a minor punctured lung, a broken rib, and a slight scar were the seat belt rubbed against her neck. Liam, who I've known for like forever, came out with a concussion and five staples on the back of his head. and Matt came out with bruising and soreness.

Also on top of that Tatiana, tasia's older sister, who is also one of my friends, had almost come along with them. From the position of the impact, she almost certainly would not have survived if she did. 

 I am so thankful for the amazing friends I have and God's providence over our lives.-----

I really needed that break. Monday I actually slept in after a long night at my Oliver cast party and my volleyball end of season party, and skipped math and acting. 

Tuesday i had my first practice with my MVSA Stars team. (YEAH! SPANDEX!) We played some free ball with the 14 A team. I am really going to enjoy playing with siers this year.

Wednesday I cleaned my room to perfectsion so that i could go hang out with Tasi, Tatiana, Liam and Stephen. We hung out for a while for Chris and megan to come so they could hang for a bit. 

Then we watched The Man Who Knew To Little.

BEST MOVIE EVER! Omg i loved it!

After that we watched Hp part 2. Which we had all seen before so we were making comments and making jokes for parts of it. 

We were done about midnight, and didn't get to bed till 2ish. After 12 we all wished each other "Happy Thanksgiving" 

After staying up till 2 my dad showed up at about 8 o'clock. so i got like no sleep...

At home we relaxed most of the day, as opposed to every other Thanksgiving in the past were we've had 20 or more people over for dinner. We went up to my Grandparent's and had the usual dinner, with football and board games afterward.

On Friday we had a small group of our friends over to have our thanksgiving left overs and to eat kylie's "sexy turkey" which was delicious!

we had a fun night including a campfire, watching Hoodwinked and Pirates 4, and a few musical Jams.

Last but not least, on Saturday I had rehearsal for Acts! It was fun and i learned three new songs.

After that i hung out at the church during the Lead worshipers rehearsal, because i was going ICE SKATING!!!!!

Jewls, Charlotte, Bri and I had a lot of fun.

I only fell once!

(which is really good for me, last time i went with the Allens i fell 18 times.)

Bri unfortunately fell 11 times.

Today I had Video Team, subbing for Jayme. I almost fell asleep twice each service. So now I'm extreamly tired after a very busy YET FUN "Break".

Oliver! SO MUCH FUN!

So recently i finished up being in the show Oliver!
I made lots of new friends and learned a lot!
In my dressing room there was 7 girls. Sam, Megan, Julia B. (or 2), Julia F. (obviously 1), Ellie, Kylie, and Me! yup! a very crowded dressing room.

( I don't think they realized we were making funny faces. lol)

OLIVER!

So after a long tech week of rehearsals. We have done 4 out of our 8(?) shows. having so much fun back stage! lots of fun!

So now i have to warn you... this is a pretty dark show, with child abuse, girlfriend abuse, and of course murder at the end....( all in 19th century London England). But one of the best shows with some of the best actors and best songs. I only warning you not warding you away! lol please come!

ONE DAY MORE! LITERALLY!

SO Tomorrow Night I (and about 25 other people) are going to see Les Miserable! I Fell in love with this musical at first sight. or should i say first song. After long battering by the Allens, I came over and watched the 25th concert with Liam, Livie and Kye. It Was amazing! After that I watched it online about 8 times within the week! In about 3 weeks i memorized most of the songs.  

And then when we went to see Wicked at the Kennedy Center I saw the giant poster and Completely went crazy! No matter what I WAS GOING TO SEE IT! 

So when I heard the Allen's were getting together a group to go, I used any and all of the money I had to get my Ticket. And Now I have One Day More before i go and see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

End of Volleyball....sigh....

Well after a awesome season we only have one game left.

Ending the PVAC conference Undefeated! With out of conference games 7 Wins and 2 Loses.

We only lost to Md School for the Deaf (the first time we play them) and Holy Cross (at home coming).

With only one game left I only have MVSA to look forward to this year or a competitive rec team. And if i dont grow any taller i probably wont be able to play front row. :( cause compared to these girls on MVSA I am Tiny!

So after our last game I can finally get all my school done have more time for SLEEP!!!!!

I Love Volleyball but a break every once in a while is very much needed.

Ok i wont spoil it for all those people who haven't read it yet, But i will say this IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Because of this new book in the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan made me want to read all the other books again, and furthermore remember all of my favorite quotes.

I looked at Grover, who was trying hard not to laugh. 
"Jeez, Nico," I said. "I've never really tried." 
He went on asking questions. Did I fight a lot with Thalia, since she was a daughter of Zeus? (I didn't answer that one.) If Annabeth's mother was Athena, the goddess of wisdom, then why didn't Annabeth know better than to fall off a cliff? (I tried not to strangle Nico for asking that one.) Was Annabeth my girlfriend? (At this point, I was ready to stick the kid in a meat-flavored sack and throw him to the wolves.)” 
·          “It's him," I said. "Typhon." 
I was seriously hoping Chiron would say something good, like 'No, that's our huge friend Leroy! He's going to help us!”
·          “Annabeth: Hey, Seaweed Brain. 
Percy: Will you stop calling me that? 
Annabeth: You know you love it.” 
·         “Monkey bar," Annabeth said. "I'm great at these." She leaped onto to the first rung and start swinging her way across. She was scared of tiny spiders, but not of plummeting to her death from a set of monkey bars. Go figure.” 
·          “Before I could figure out how to apologize for being such an idiot, she tackled me with a hug, then pulled away just as quickly. "I'm glad you're not a guinea pig." 
"Me, too." I hoped my face wasn't as red as it felt.” 
·          “I don't recommend shadow travel if you're scared of: 
a) The dark 
b) Cold shivers up your spine 
c) Strange noises 
d) Going so fast you feel like your face is peeling off 
In other words, I thought it was awesome.” 
·          “I love New York. You can pop out of the Underworld in Central Park, hail a taxi, head down Fifth Avenue with a giant hellhound loping behind you, and nobody even looks at you funny.” 
·          “Braccas meas vescimini!" 
I wasn't sure where the Latin came from. I think it meant 'Eat my pants!” 
·          “Percy (to Annabeth): If I was going to pick one person in the world to reattach my head, I'd pick you. 
Silena: Awww . . . Percy, that is so sweet! 
Annabeth: Shut up, Silena.” 
·          “Jason scratched his head. "You named him Festus? You know that in Latin, ‘festus’ means ‘happy’? You want us to ride off to save the world on Happy the Dragon?” 
·          “I found myself staring at her, which was stupid since I'd seen her a billion times. Still, she seemed so much more mature. It was kind of intimidating. I mean, sure, she'd always been cute, but she was starting to be seriously beautiful.” 
·          “Once she was gone, I knelt next to Annabeth and felt her forehead. She was still burning up. 
"You're cute when you're worried," she muttered. "Your eyebrows get all scrunched together." 
"You are not going to die while I owe you a favor," I said. "Why did you take that knife?" 
"You would've done the same for me." 
It was true. I guess we both knew it. Still, I felt like somebody was poking my heart with a cold metal rod.” 
·          “She whirled when the monster was almost on top of her. I thought the thing in her hands was an umbrella until she cranked the pump and the shotgun blast blew the giant twenty feet backwards, right into Nico's sword. 
"Nice one," Paul said. 
"When did you learn to fire a shotgun?" I demanded. 
My mom blew the hair out of her face. "About two seconds ago. Percy, we'll be fine. Go!” 
·          “Once I got over the fact that my Latin teacher was a horse, we had a nice tour, though I was careful not to walk behind him. I'd done pooper-scooper patrol in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade a few times, and, I'm sorry, I did not trust Chiron's back the the way I trusted his front. ” 
·          “Stop running, you fools!" Kronos yelled. "Stand and ACKK!" 
That last part was because a panicked Hyperborean giant stumbled backwards and sat on top of him. The lord of time disappeared under a giant blue butt.” 
·          “You're Dionysus," I said. "The god of wine." 
Mr. D rolled his eyes. "What do they say these days, Grover? Do the children say 'Well duh!'?" 
Y-yes, Mr. D." 
Then, well, duh! Percy Jackson. Did you think I was Aphrodite, perhaps?" 
You're a god." 
Yes, child." 
A god. You.” 
·          “Ever come home and found your room messed up? Like some helpful person (hi, Mom) has tried to "clean" it, and suddenly you can't find anything? And even if nothing is missing, you get that creepy feeling like somebody's been looking through your private stuff and dusting everything with lemon furniture polish?” 
·          “My mother made a squeaking sound that might of been either "yes" or "help". 
Poseidon took it as a yes and came in. 
Paul was looking back and forth between us, trying to read our expressions. 
Finally he stepped forward. 
"Hi, I'm Paul Blofis." 
Poseidon raised an eyebrow and then shook his hand. 
"Blowfish, did you say?" 
"Ah, no. Blofis, actually." 
"Oh, I see," Poseidon said. "A shame. I quite like blowfish. I am Poseidon." 
"Poseidon? That's an interesting name." 
"Yes, I like it. I've gone by other names, but I do prefer Poseidon." 
"Like the god of the sea." 
"Very much like that, yes" 
"Well!" My mother interrupted. "Um, were so glad you could drop by. Paul, this is Percy's father." 
"Ah." Paul nodded, though he didn't look real pleased. "I see." 
Poseidon smiled at me. "There you are, my boy. And Tyson, hello, son!" 
"Daddy!" Tyson [shouted]... 
Paul's jaw dropped. He stared at my mother. "Tyson is..." 
"Not mine," she promised. "It's a long story.” 
·          “Race you to the road?" I said. 
"You are so going to lose." She (Annabeth) took off down Half-Blood Hill and I sprinted after her. 
For once, I didn't look back.” 
·          “Can we just call them storm spirits?” Leo asked. “Venti makes them sound like evil espresso drinks.” 
·          “Leo: “I can’t believe I thought you were hot.” 
Khione’s face turned red. “Hot? You dare insult me? I am cold, Leo Valdez. Very, very cold.””
·          “Oh, and Drew, honey?” 
The former counselor looked back reluctantly. 
“In case you think I’m not a true daughter of Aphrodite,” Piper said, “don’t even look at Jason Grace. He may not know it yet, but he’s mine. If you even try to make a move, I will load you into a catapult and shoot you across Long Island Sound.” 
Drew turned around so fast, she ran into the doorframe. Then she was gone.” 
·          “So which way now, Sacagawea?" - Annabeth to Rachel” 
·          “The last time I'd seen the Minotaur, he'd been wearing nothing but his tighty whities. I don't know why. Maybe he'd been shaken out of bed to chase me.” 
·         “She raised an eyebrow. "You got something to say to me, Seaweed Brain?" 
You'd probably kick my butt." 
You know I'd kick your butt." 
I brushed the cake off my hands. "When I was at the River Styx, turning invulnerable . . . Nico said I had to concentrate on one thing that kept me anchored to the world, that made me want to stay mortal." 
Annabeth kept her eyes on the horizon. "Yeah?" 
Then up on Olympus," I said, "when they wanted to make me a god and stuff, I kept thinking-" 
Oh, you so wanted to." 
Well, maybe a little. But I didn't, because I thought-I didn't want things to stay the same for eternity, because things could always get better. And I was thinking . . ." My throat felt really dry. 
Anyone in particular?" Annabeth asked, her voice soft. 
I looked over and saw that she was trying not to smile. 
You're laughing at me," I complained. 
I am not!" 
You are so not making this easy." 
Then she laughed for real, and she put her hands 
around my neck. "I am never, ever going to make things easy for you, Seaweed Brain. Get used to it.” 
·          “Remind me again-why do you hate me so much?" 
I don't hate you." 
Could've fooled me." 
She folded her cap of invisibility. "Look...we're just not supposed to get along, okay? Our parents are rivals." 
Why?" 
She sighed. "How many reasons do you want? One time my mom caught Poseidon with his girlfriend in Athena's temple, which is hugely disrespectful. Another time, Athena and Poseidon competed to be the patron god for the city of Athens. Your dad created some stupid saltwater spring for his gift. My mom created the olive tree. The people saw that her gift was better, so they named the city after her." 
They must really like olives." 
Oh, forget it." 
Now, if she'd invented pizza-that I could understand.” 
·          “Doesn't miss many meals, does he?" Zeus muttered. "Tyson, for your bravery in the war, and for leading the Cyclopes, you are appointed a general I. The armies of Olympus. You shall henceforth lead you breathren into war whenever required by the gods. And you shall have a new...um...what kind of weapon would you like? A sword? An axe?" 
"Stick!" Tyson said, showing his broken club. 
"Very well," Zeus said. "We will grant you a new, er, stick. The best stick that may be found." 
"Hooray!” 
·          “Why can't you place a blessing like that on us?" I asked. 
It only works on wild animals." 
So it would only affect Percy," Annabeth reasoned. 
Hey!" I protested.” 
·          "Thanks." I remembered the last time Annabeth and I had parted ways, when she'd given me a kiss for luck in Mount St. Helens. This time, all I got was the hat.” 
·          “Okay," I said. "Just a normal afternoon and two normal people." 
She nodded. "And so...hypothetically, if these to people likes each other, what would it take to get the stupid guy to kiss the girl, huh?" 
"Oh..." I felt like one of Apollo's sacred cows-slow, dumb, and bright red. "Um...” 
·          “The cord, a familiar voice said. Remember your lifeline, dummy! 
Suddenly there was a tug in my lower back. The current pulled at me, but it wasn't carrying me away anymore. I imagined the string in my back keeping me tied to the shore. 
"Hold on, Seaweed Brain." It was Annabeth's voice, much clearer now. "You're not getting away from me that easily." 
The cord strengthened. 
I could see Annabeth now- standing barefoot above me on the canoe lake pier. I'd fallen out of my canoe. That was it. She was reaching out her hand to haul me up, and she was trying not to laugh. She wore her orange camp T-shirt and jeans. Her hair was tucked up in her Yankees cap, which was strange because that should have made her invisible. 
"You are such an idiot sometimes." She smiled. "Come on. Take my hand." 
Memories came flooding back to me- sharper and more colorful. I stopped dissolving. My name was Percy Jackson. I reached up and took Annabeth's hand.”
